Arcot Assembly Election 2021: Arcot is an Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency within the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu. It falls beneath the Arakkonam Lok Sabha constituency.

In the 2016 Tamil Nadu Assembly election, the Arcot constituency had a complete of two,46,835 registered voters.

In the 2016 Tamil Nadu Assembly election, JL Eswarappan of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) received the Arcot seat. He received 84,182 votes, as towards 73,091 votes received by his fundamental rival KV Ramadoss of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).

In the 2011 election, VKR Srinivasan of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) had received the Arcot seat by beating KL Elavazhagan of the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK).

The Arcot Assembly constituency is predicted to go to polls in April or May 2021, as a part of the Tamil Nadu Assembly election 2021.
